Carly Carlson, CPA

Carly Carlson, CPA is the founding and managing member of Fiat Tax, PLLC (Formerly WE Team LLC).  She has more than a decade of experience in public accounting advising businesses and individuals on tax, accounting, and management matters. She also worked in the finance industry, managing audits and controversies, information reporting, and tax savings strategies for a publicly-traded bank.  She has extensive background in tax consulting with medical and dental practices, guiding practices through transitions, providing transaction support, covering tax strategies and feasibility issues, and reviewing legal agreements. She also consulted with large hospitals and healthcare small businesses on compensation formulas based on production and regularly calculated and reviewed these formulas for profit allocation to practice owners.  Carly has been a regular speaker at A-DEC and Sirona conferences teaching about the impacts of tax reform on healthcare small business. In addition to tax and managerial consulting, Carly provides detailed financial and forensic analysis for attorneys throughout the country and has assisted in numerous high profile litigation matters. Carly believes the future of finance is linked to technology, and has assisted clients with multiple accounting software conversions (both to and from QuickBooks and Xero), advising on various bookkeeping and reporting requirements.

When not crunching numbers, Carly enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, cooking, reading, traveling, and getting as much time outdoors as possible.
